De plus, vous embarquez pour une croisière  sur le Nil et visitez les  sites principaux  de Louxor, Denderah, Abydos, Edfou Kom Ombo, Philae et Assouan. Un guide touristique égyptologue professionnel vous accompagnera tout au long de votre voyage.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Welcome by our representative at Cairo airport.
Transfer and installation at the hotel.

Day 2: pyramids - Saqqarah - Dahshour

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private air-conditioned car to visit:

The Giza plateau which contains the pyramids of Cheops, Khephren and Mykérinos, as well as the Sphinx, witnesses of ancient Egyptian civilization.
The visit inside the pyramids and the museum that houses the solar boat are left to your initiative, so they are not included in the package.
Saqqarah: The largest necropolis in ancient Egypt.
Famous for the Step Pyramid of King Djeser. Built by Imhotep.
This pyramid considered to be the first carved stone construction in the world. Saqqarah owes its fame to the tombs of the nobles or mastabas. Scenes representing daily life at that time are engraved on the walls of these tombs.

Dahshur: The site of Dahshur is located about ten kilometers from Saqqarah. Two pyramids were built by King Snefrou, father of Cheops. The rhomboidal pyramid and the red pyramid.
The two pyramids allow us to understand the evolution of the construction of the pyramids. Night at the hotel.

Day 3: Alexandria

Departure in the morning by private air-conditioned car in the direction of Alexandria.
Visit of the fortress of Qaitbay built by the Mamluk sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay in the 15th century. It is located on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria. This fortress offers a magnificent panorama of the city and the Mediterranean.

Abu El Abbas Mosque: Inspired by Andalusian and Arabic art, this mosque was built in 1927. Its immense minaret and four domes make it the largest mosque in Alexandria.
The Library of Alexandria: One of the terrible episodes in the history of Egypt was the destruction of the Library of Alexandria but with the help of UNESCO, Egypt built in 2002 on the site of the remains the great library of the Mediterranean world.
Reading room, museums, restoration laboratory, specific rooms to accommodate the disabled and the blind, everything is done to ensure that everyone has equal access to culture.

Day 4: Alexandria - Cairo

the palace and gardens of Montazah: The gardens of Montazah include several buildings. The first palace, Salamlek, was started in 1892 by King Abbas II, then in 1932, King Fouad I had an even larger palace, Haramlik, made. Until 1952, the property will belong to the royal family Mohamed Ali. Today it is a very popular place for walking, consisting of magnificent gardens over an area of 155 hectares and offering a magnificent view of the bay of Alexandria.
The Royal Jewelry Museum:
A true tale of a thousand and one nights, this museum installed in the palace of Fatma Al Zahraa, princess of the royal family, will allow you to admire unique and more precious pieces than the others, the jewels of the family of Mohamed Ali, Queen Farida's crown, but also precious stone tools and dishes.
The museum itself invites you to dream, its richly decorated ceilings, its stained glass windows, its paintings, everything invites you to experience a magical moment.

Day 6: Luxor

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo: Two floors, a hundred rooms, 160,000 objects on display. One of the main rooms is the one dedicated to Tutankhamun's treasure, his tomb discovered in 1922 by the English archaeologist Howard Carter. The mummies room is not included in the package.
Saladin Citadel: It was built in the 12th century to protect itself from Crusader attacks and served as a royal residence for Egyptian rulers for more than 700 years.
The alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali: The most remarkable building, a masterpiece of 19th century architecture. Located at the top of a limestone hill overlooking Cairo. During your visit to the Citadel you will learn more about its mosques, palaces and museums, while enjoying the superb breathtaking view of the city of Cairo, the city of the dead and the mosque of Sultan Hassan.

The Khân al-Khalili: You will not be able to leave Cairo without going for a walk in one of the most famous souks of Le Khân al-Khalili. You can shop there, clothes, spices and souvenirs.
Rest in one of the many cafes, the most famous of which is Cafe el-Fishawi or Cafe des Miroirs.
Night at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport, flight to Luxor.
Arrival in Luxor. Visit of the imposing Temple of Karnak , renowned for the immensity of its hypostyle hall (134 columns aligned in 16 rows).
Karnak is arguably the most grandiose site in all of Pharaonic Egypt.
Transfer and installation at the hotel.
With the sunset, visit the Temple of Luxor on the edge of the Nile corniche; erected by the prestigious kings of the New Empire.
You admire the obelisk of Ramsess II, his twin sister is at the Place de la Concorde in Paris ...!
Option: Sound and Light Show in Karnak.
Night at the hotel.

Day 7: Dendera - Abydos - Boarding

After breakfast, departure to Dendera located north of Luxor to visit the temple of the goddess Hathor, one of the major sites of Upper Egypt where you can admire Cleopatra VII.
Then departure to Abydos to visit the temple of Seti I, the father of Ramses II, one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt.
(Lunch basket meal).
Return to Luxor after the visit, transfer and boarding on our 5 * cruise ship.
Accommodation in double or single cabin, full board.
Musical evening in the lounge bar.
Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 8: Theban Necropolis - Navigation

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the Theban Necropolis including:
The Valley of the Kings , Deir El Bahari (Hatshepsut) and the Colossi of Memnon.
Back on board. Departure of the cruise towards Esna.
Lunch during navigation. Passage of the Esna lock. Musical evening in the lounge bar.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Option: A hot air balloon flight.

Day 9: Edfu - Kom Ombo

After breakfast, visit of:

Temple of Edfu , the largest sanctuary built in the Ptolemaic era, dedicated to the falcon god Horus.
It is in an exceptional state of conservation.
After the visit, navigation to Kom Ombo.
In the afternoon, visit of the Temple of Kom Ombo , dedicated to the deities:
Sobek (crocodile-headed) and Haroeris (falcon-headed).
Fancy dress evening in the lounge bar. Dinner, Egyptian cuisine.
Navigation and overnight in Aswan.

Day 10: Aswan

After breakfast, visit of the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Threatened to be submerged during the construction of the high dam.
This temple has been moved block by block under the aegis of Unesco.
Stop and visit the unfinished obelisk or the Aswan Dam .
Lunch on board. Free afternoon.
Dinner and a Nubian evening at the lounge bar.
Stroll through the bustling Aswan souk, extending parallel to the Nile corniche. Renowned for its colors, sounds, and above all for its spice scents.

Overnight on board.

Day 11: End of the cruise

Breakfast on board and disembarkation.
Free morning, here is a suggested visit to do:
Abu Simbel : by private vehicle and convoy, departure early to take the road to Abu Simbel. The trip lasts about 3 hours.
Four impressive royal colossi frame the prestigious facades of the great temple built in honor of Ramses II and of the small temple built in honor of Queen Nefertari, his favorite wife.
A visit that can only move you by the imposing stature of this building and the beauty of the sculptures.
Return at the end of the morning. Installation at the hotel in Aswan.
Felucca ride around Elephantine Island.
Night at the hotel.

Day 12: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Aswan airport, flight to Cairo.
