Day1: Arrival in Cairo

Welcome by our representative at Cairo airport.

Transfer and installation at the hotel.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: The Pyramids, Saqqarah and Dahshur

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private air-conditioned car to visit:

The Giza plateau which contains the pyramids of Cheops, Khephren and Mykérinos, as well as the Sphinx, witnesses of ancient Egyptian civilization.
The visit inside the pyramids and the museum that houses the solar boat are left to your initiative, so they are not included in the package.
Saqqarah: The largest necropolis in ancient Egypt.
Famous for the Step Pyramid of King Djeser. Built by Imhotep. This pyramid considered to be the first carved stone construction in the world. Saqqarah owes its fame to the tombs of the nobles or mastabas. Scenes representing daily life at that time are engraved on the walls of these tombs.

Dahshur: The site of Dahchour is located about ten kilometers from Saqqarah. Two pyramids were built by King Snefrou, father of Cheops. The rhomboidal pyramid and the red pyramid.
The two pyramids allow us to understand the evolution of the construction of the pyramids.

Then transfer by private vehicle to the station to take the night train to Luxor.

Day 3: Luxor

Arrival in Luxor and installation in your hotel.

At the beginning of the afternoon, visit of the fabulous complex of Karnak: An immense historical site, drawn up on approximately 60 hectares which contains vestiges of the 20th century. until the 4th century BC.

Karnak, renowned for the immensity of its hypostyle hall (134 columns aligned in 16 rows).

Karnak is the grandest temple in all of Pharaonic Egypt.

At the end of the afternoon, visit the temple of Luxor, a temple started by King Amenophis 3 and completed by Ramses 2 and many other kings. It represents at best the schematic plan of an Egyptian temple with its elegant path of the sphinx, its gigantic facade formerly preceded by two magnificent obelisks one is still in place and the other has been located since 1836 on Place Concorde in Paris ..!

Day 4: The Theban Necropolis.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to discover the wonders of the Theban necropolis on the left bank of the Nile:

- The Valley of the Kings: The kings of the new empire chose to have their tombs dug in the limestone rock of the Theban mountain. There are officially 63, but the site has not yet revealed all its secrets. The entrance ticket gives the right to visit 3 tombs. The tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses II, Seti I and many others are not included.

- The temple of Queen Hatchepsout: Built by the famous architect Sénènmout. It is the only one in Egypt which is made up of 3 superimposed terraces. The temple is built against the mountain.

- Photo stop in front of the Colossi of Memnon: Two monumental stone sculptures, located on the left bank of the Nile. They are the largest remains of the funeral temple built for Amenophis III.

Day 5: Edfu - Kom-Ombo

Day 6: Aswan

After breakfast, departure by private air-conditioned car south of Luxor.

At 120 km, visit of the temple of Edfu . The largest sanctuary built in the Ptolemaic era, dedicated to the falcon god Horus.

It is in an exceptional state of conservation because it remained buried for a long time under the sand. It was discovered in 1855 by French archaeologist Auguste Mariette.

75km south of Edfu and 45 km north of Aswan, visit of the temple of Kom Ombo , dedicated to the deities:

Sobek (crocodile-headed) and Haroeris (falcon-headed).

He is famous for his famous scenes: The Egyptian calendar and surgical instruments.

Arrive in Aswan, check into your hotel.

Night at the hotel.

Temple de Philae

Day 7: The Egyptian Museum - Departure

Arrival in Cairo. Transfer by private air-conditioned car to visit:

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo: Two floors, a hundred rooms, 160,000 objects on display. One of the main rooms is the one dedicated to Tutankhamun's treasure, his tomb discovered in 1922 by the English archaeologist Howard Carter. The mummies room is not included in the package.

You will not be able to leave Cairo without going for a walk in one of the most famous souks of Le Khân al-Khalili . You can shop there, clothes, spices and souvenirs.

Transfer to Cairo airport for your departure, return flight.
