They were initially made for a family but, over the years, will be enlarged and occupied by several families.

Mixture of Egyptian and Greco-Roman art, their decorations and structures make these catacombs one of a kind.

La colonne de Pompee

Proudly dominating Alexandria since the 3rd century, this column of red granite stands at the top of its 26m in the middle of the serapeum built to the glory of the Emperor Diocletian. The Serapeum is a temple dedicated to the god Apis, the bull.

The Library of Alexandria
La nouvelle bibliotheque

One of the terrible episodes in the history of Egypt was the destruction of the Library of Alexandria, but with the help of UNESCO, Egypt built in 2002, on the site of the remains, the great library of the Mediterranean world.

At the cutting edge of technology, it provides researchers and academics with the essential tools to maintain and advance the cultural and scientific position of the Middle East.

Reading room, museums, catering laboratories, specific rooms to accommodate the disabled and the blind, everything is done to ensure that everyone has equal access to culture.
